Economic Development of Companies Financed by Venture Capital

This dissertation is looking into evaluation of the economical situation and development of the assigned companies which are financed by the high-risk capital. The economical development of the companies is subjected to selected indicators of the financial analysis. The theoretical solution of this dissertation is describing the particular aspects of the financial analysis and the high-risk capital. The analytical section is focusing on the development of the economical situation in the companies using the selected indicators and is proposing a possible improvement of the economical progress of the companies. Conclusion of this thesis is comparing development of the companies’ indicator and is providing its feasible solution.

Unfavorable economic situation and its effect on business performance in the selected sector

This thesis provides information about a chosen company, but also about the industry, which the company belongs into. The thesis includes financial analysis, which was made towards answering the question of "what effect has an adverse economic situation on efficiency of the company", with industrial specification taken into account. Methods of financial analysis, particularly horizontal and vertical analysis of accounting statements, analysis of ratio indicators and analysis of indicators framework were applied to the chosen company. The benefit of this thesis is the comparison of causes and consequences of the global economic crisis in 2008 and 2009 and also the crisis, which was caused by covid pandemic in 2020. On the basis of financial analysis, the main deficiencies in the company's economy are found. And last, but not least there are also stated final recommendations, which could help in subject matter decision-making of the company in the future.

Economic Development of Chosen Enterprise of Textile Industry

The work deals with the historical context of textile industry and economic development and competitiveness of chosen enterprise of textile industry. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to determine the economic situation of this company through the financial analysis. To compare the individual indicators of the ratio analysis both with competing companies and the average in a given sector allowing the financial situation to evaluate more comprehensively. The work contains several proposed solutions to improve the financial situation in the monitored company.

Economic Development of Enterprise in Relation to the Implementation of Innovation

The aim of this work is to asses the economic evolution of the enterprise considering the phases of its business life cycle and the innovative activities. The data included in this work represent AGRIO MZS s.r.o., which is mid-large manufacturing company operating on the field of agricultural machinery. This paper adopts quantitive methods such as comparison of return on assets, return on sales, return on equity and other profitability or activity ratios since the founding of the company in 1993. Presented calculations are based on economical reports available in the public register as well as on the management accounting provided by the company itself.

Odlišnosti ve firemní struktuře České republiky a Slovenska

This diploma thesis focuses on the detection of differences in the corporate structure of the Czech Republic and Slovakia for the year 2017. In the literary overview is created to track information about the economic development of the Czech Republic and Slovakia after 1993 until 2017. In the custom part are from the Orbis database obtained the data indicators in the various categories of the classification of economic activities for the year 2017. These indicators include EBIT, number of employees, financial revenues and expenses, ROA before tax and others. The data of these indicators are further compared on the base of the average, the median, the maximum value and the minimum value.

Evaluation of Economic Development in Developed Countries

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of evaluation of economic development in Visegrad group countries compared to Germany in years from 2009 to 2015. The aim of the thesis is to take down and to evaluate economic development in this period based on the analysis of macroeconomic indicators. In the theoretical part, there are several notions explained, such as the definition of GDP, economic growth rate, unemployment rate, balance of payments or economic cycle. In the practical part, there is an analysis carried out which describes the concrete data development of macroeconomic indicators in Visegrad group countries in comparison to Germany. Subsequently, general characteristics of the countries are deduced. At the end of the thesis, the findings are summarized, and further possibilities of elaboration are foreshadowed.

Impact of economic development on fertility in Czechia after 2000

Impact of economic development on fertility in Czechia after 2000 Abstract The aim of this thesis is to explore the development of fertility in Czechia at the level of regions and districts and to compare it with the development of economy after 2000. The first part of the thesis summarizes the knowledge of fertility development and possible economic and other influences that affect it. Subsequently the development of unemployment and the development of fertility were analyzed, just like their relations in the Czech Republic between 2002-2017. The thesis is focused on the regional differentiation of the selected indicators. Most of the analysis was made at the level of the NUTS 3 of the Czechia. Hereby it can be confirmed that the economic development in the Czech Republic was very likely one of the important factors that also influenced the development of fertility. For a more detailed examination of patterns of reproductive behavior and unemployment a cluster analysis was made for territorial units at the level LAU 1. In this analysis the main indicators were included as well as their changes after 2008. This method managed to define several areas with identical fertility and unemployment characteristics. This thesis analyzes the security and economic development of Georgia in years 1990 to 2015. This thesis deals with the development of Georgia with respect to its political and security measures. By means of economic indicators it discusses the correspondence between the overall security development and the economic development. This bachelor thesis is divided into three parts. Firstly, there is a literary research that deals with the theoretical approaches to security and economic development. Secondly, the analysis of security and economic development of Georgia in a given period is presented. The last part discusses the proposed transformation of the security system of Georgia in terms of the process of integration into NATO.

The diploma is focus on whole term of the last crisis registered in 2008. In diploma is mentioned as the European debt crisis and Global economic recession. The main theme of this diploma are GDB during the crisis, higher unemployment, a slowdown in foreign trade, car industry or problems in the agricultural sector in Czech Republic and in the world also.
The diploma expressed which country had the biggest problems with crisis and the other way around. In diploma are also described the anti-crisis measuresy which had prevented more bankrupt in affected countries.
